23rd March 2018
Sport Relief is here again!
This year we are really excited to be raising money for Sport Relief 2018! As one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events, Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives.
On Friday 23rd March, the children in Years 5 and 6 will be organising and running a variety of sporting events and activities for the whole school to participate in. We will be challenging their stamina, skills and strength – both children and teachers!
Please could you send your child to school with some spare change and pocket money to spend, so that we can raise as much as possible and perhaps even break the fundraising record that we set last time.
Our Sports Ambassadors will also be selling the official Sport Relief wristbands, priced at £1.00, during the week commencing 19th March.
As it is Sport Relief, children can come dressed as a sports person of their choice. This could be any sporting activity like a tennis player, Grand Prix driver or cyclist for a donation of £1. The possibilities are endless. All money raised is spent by Comic Relief to help people living incredibly tough lives, both at home in the UK and across the world's poorest countries. We really appreciate your support and hope that you’ll have fun helping our school raise lots of money for Sport Relief!
