Chestnut Tree House

We take part in Children’s Hospice Week each year, with any money that we raise going to a local children's hospice - Chestnut Tree House. In December we also take part in the charity's "Reindeer Run". Last year we raised over two thousand pounds!

Together for Short Lives is the only charity representing the estimated 23,500 children and young people across the UK who are unlikely to reach adulthood. It works to ensure that every life-limited child and their family gets the best possible care and support whenever and wherever they need it.

Children’s hospice services offer a lifeline to these children and their families, helping ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances to cope with the challenges of everyday life.

In Hospice Week, pupils and staff dress up as their favourite superhero to help 'Together for Short Lives' continue their vital work.
